OUR POSITION

Your ambition is to manage a project team for the disciplines of electronics and (embedded) software. On the instruction of our customers, you and the team develop complete modules or products with the emphasis on mixed-signal PCBA, possibly in a casing with a display, including the associated embedded software. You complete the projects for clients in the industrial, medical or automotive market. Click here for examples of the types of projects we undertake. The projects are completed at Sioux’ Development Centre or at the client’s premises (in the Eindhoven area). This concerns a job for 36 to 40 hours per week.

Your daily activities include:

  • supporting the account manager en engineers with the preparing of the offers
  • preparing project plans and subsequently following up and monitoring the time schedule, budget and product costs right up to final acceptance. In appropriate cases it is possible to get support of the program manager
  • preparing progress reports, both internally and for the customer
  • daily management of the project team
  • risk management and scope management
  • communication with all stakeholders; team, colleagues and customer
  • monitoring the level of quality and arranging for a smooth handover to the production department
  • involving the production department in the development project in time

THIS IS WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

you like to accept responsibility to successfully complete your assignment you play an important role in the coordination with the client and coordination between the technical disciplines and our production branch

  • you have a technical background on a higher professional or university education level, preferably electronics
  • you have at least eight years of experience with electronics systems development, at least four years of which as a project leader or a team leader
  • you have experience with estimating and realizing projects in the field of electronics development, including embedded software
  • you have experience with working according to a project management methodology and ISO 9001-certified processes. Knowledge of ISO13485 and associated standards is a bonus
  • you have experience with outsourcing production or handing over to a production department. Knowledge of and experience with Dfx is preferred
  • you are pragmatic and also pay sufficient attention to quality
  • you are flexible and you are able to deal with the customer’s ever-changing wishes and at the same time, you are able to find a balance between relenting and sticking to agreements
  • you know enough about technology and commerce to form a solid bridge between the client and the technical team
  • you are fluent in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing, and you have excellent communication skills
