Grouplead Continuous Improvement Location: Venlo

Our challenge:
In this role you will lead a group of 5 Continuous Improvement engineers and you will be leading challenging CI projects yourself. You and your team will interact closely with (international) production & manufacturing teams in our Venlo facility. You report directly to the Manager Engineering. The total Engineering team consists of 22 Professionals.
• You will co-operate and lead local cross functional improvement teams;
• You will analyze, plan, coordinate and facilitate continuous improvement activities of your department in a structured manner;
• You will closely support the production lines and take co-ownership for achieving production targets and future improvements;
• You co-operate with teams from other manufacturing sites (Canada, Australia and Switzerland) to exchange the best practice and solutions;
• You will coach your team members and develop the continuous improvement results to world class level;
• You will engage and communicate at all levels across Vistaprint.
Your profile:
• Bachelor degree, preferably in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, with affinity towards IT/automation technologies;
• You have excellent Sigma leadership skills and best practice cases to support this;
• You have vast experience in LEAN transformations in a manufacturing environment;
• You have lead multiple Kaizen events.
• You have what it takes to utilize your LEAN knowledge and experience to facilitate LEAN engineering;
• You have an in-depth understanding of the Lean / Six Sigma toolbox. I.e.; Standard work, LSW, Visualization, Accountability process, Flow, PDCA, DMAIC, etc.;
• Minimum of 3 years relevant engineering experience in a World Class LEAN Manufacturing environment;
• Experience in engineering design
• Excellent project management skills;
• Excels in English, Dutch and preferably knowledge of German.
