Compiler / Tools Developer Location: Enschede
As a tools developer, you create state-of-the-art IDE software tools for the development, verification, debugging and program simulation for reconfigurable and programmable DSP IP cores. You are part of our growing and international tools development team.
Key responsibilities
We believe in finding the right match between your expertise and our products. Depending on your interests, you will contribute to the development, support and maintenance of one or more of the following products:
* The Sensation Integrated Development Environment (Eclipse-based, Java);
* The Synsation compiler (C++, Java) for Montium®/Xentium®;
* The Simsation simulator (C++, Java) for Montium®/Xentium®.
Profile
To complement our existing team, we are seeking a tools developer with:
* a solid background in software development for embedded systems, who is familiar with the development of software development tools such as compilers, assemblers, simulators, and debuggers;
* excellent Java and/or C++ skills who is proficient in all aspects of software development, including design, specification, implementation, documentation and version control;
* MSc or BSc degree in electronics or computer sciences;
* knowledge and experience in several of the following fields:
* the Eclipse development platform;
* the LLVM compiler framework;
* assembler languages;
* Embedded Systems;
* (parallel) computer architectures;
* digital signal processing.

You are comfortable working in a multidisciplinary environment and able to communicate clearly to a wide public, including other engineers, customers and management. You have a hands-on mentality and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
