After studying Mechanical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology, Johan van Seggelen (1975) designed, realized and calibrated a coordinate measuring machine with nanometer accuracy (NanoCMM) in a PhD-project. In parallel he finished the MBA-program at TiasNimbas business school in the Netherlands. After that, Johan worked as a business developer at TNO Science and Industry. During that time, he was a member of the core team that integrated the Dutch mechatronics community in the Point-One organization. At this moment, Johan works as a business development manager at MECAL and promotes the Dutch High Tech Systems community via this website.
