01/25/12 Frencken acquires US Motion
Frencken Group today announced that its subsidiary Frencken Europe B.V. has entered into a Stock Purchase Agreement to acquire 80% equity interests in US Motion for US$ 2,636,000. The acquisition aims to provide a valuable platform for Frencken’s Mechatronics Division to enlarge its business opportunities in the USA and gain a portfolio of proprietary products. The acquisition is in line with Frencken’s strategy to further strengthen the industry position of its Mechatronics Division as a global player in the high-technology capital equipment sector.
06/10/11 Patient tables to Frencken
Frencken has been building the base of patient tables for cardiovascular systems of Philips Healthcare for quite some time now. The Eindhoven–based system supplier also develops these patient tables and produces the customer specific options. Starting this month, Frencken will also be responsible for customer specific final assembly and testing. The tables will make one final stop at the System Integration Department at Philips Healthcare, where all cardiovascular system modules are collected for final testing and checkups. Eventually the table will go from Frencken directly to the customer in the hospital. ‘Frencken will deliver the AD-7 as a complete, customer specific assembly, as an important part of a complete CV system’, says Philips’ project leader Albert de Jong...
