05/20/10 AAE expands into Micro-machining and -measurement [226 KB]
With the acquisition and installation of a state-of-the-art DMG Sauer Lasertec 80 Lasermachining center, AAE is now able to offer “cutting edge” performance in Micromachining. Equipped with two lasers, it allows for cutting, boring and welding, each with optimal results.
In addition, a Werth Multisensor Fixed Bridge ScopeCheck® dimensional measurement technology system will be installed shortly to support the Micromachining capabilities. This highly-advanced coordinate measurement system uses multiple sensors (optics and touch probes) and with a measurement range of 400x400x300mm (X-Y-Z) allows a wide range of products to be measured accurately.
